Evan O’Neil has been integrating public interest and social responsibility into his visual work for over 10 years, most notably as a Project M alumnus. He has been a founding partner in Houston’s first B-Corporation and founded a number of civic-driven initiatives, most recently “Houston Needs a Swimming Hole”, a crowdfunding based initiative to bring a public space centered around a natural swimming pool to Houston. He was named one of the “Best in Texas” by AIGA in 2013 and is currently the Co-director of Design Advocacy for AIGA Houston.
